THE 5TH MEKONG DELTA CONFERENCE ON NATURAL SCIENCES

Theme: Natural Sciences for Sustainable Development on the Foundation of Digital Innovation and Artificial Intelligence

1. Introduction

Natural sciences play a key role in the socio-economic development of Vietnam, especially in the context of the digital revolution and the rapid development of artificial intelligence today. They provide a fundamental foundation for scientific and technological development and innovation in this era of national advancement, and are currently receiving special attention from the Government.

Following the success of the 4th Conference, in order to create a forum for scientists, lecturers, researchers, undergraduate and graduate students to present new research results in the field of natural sciences, Can Tho University will organize the 5th Mekong Delta Conference on Natural Sciences Conference with the theme “Natural Sciences for Sustainable Development on the Foundation of Digital Innovation and Artificial Intelligence”. The conference aims to enhance academic exchange and promote research collaboration among scientists, educational institutions, research institutes, and related organizations.

4. Scientific Publications

Accepted papers will be published in a Special Issue of the Can Tho University Journal of Science (ISSN 1859-2333, e-ISSN 2815-5599). This journal is included in the list of journals recognized by the State Professorship Council of Vietnam for research evaluation. The special issue will follow the regulations regarding the number of papers and the proportion of papers authored by researchers outside Can Tho University.

  • Second revision notification: Before July 10, 2026

  • Acceptance notification: Before July 25, 2026

  • Invitation for conference presentation (oral or poster): Before July 30, 2026

6. Submission

  • Submit manuscripts: To the Can Tho University Journal of Science, section: Mekong Delta Natural Science Conference.

  • Abstract Submission: Research works not submitted to the Can Tho University Journal of Science may submit an abstract to the conference via email: tvly@ctu.edu.vn

    • Word File, Font: Times New Roman, Size: 12

    • Include: Title, Authors, Affiliation, and Email

  • Poster Presentation: * Poster size: A0 (portrait orientation)

    • Participants prepare their own posters (the organizers will arrange display space).

    • Poster file (PDF) should be sent to: tvly@ctu.edu.vn

    • Outstanding poster awards will be presented.

7. Fee

  • Paper review fee (according to the Can Tho University Journal of Science regulations): 1,000,000 VND per paper (The journal will send an email with payment instructions after confirming the paper format).

  • Conference participation fee: 500,000 VND (including materials, coffee break, and reception).
